Maui Dreams Dive Co. opened for business January 1, 1999. Just two short years later, the store doubled in size and underwent a complete remodel, we're talking 'Extereme Makeover'! Don and Rachel worked for the shop for a couple of years prior to taking over from Pacific Dive. Primary motivation — 24 HOUR ACCESS TO TANKS! Ha, ha, ha! Of course, they also had 1,000 or so different ideas that they wanted to try out too! There were the usual reasons too — they wanted to share their love of diving and create a place where locals and visitors alike would come hang out and 'talk story', truth or otherwise.

Maui Dreams Dive Co. is just off the beaten path. Despite the address, the shop is not on the frontage of South Kihei Road — just check the map and you'll understand. If, by chance, you still don't understand after viewing the map, may we recommend one of our navigation courses?

We are a PADI 5 Star IDC, offering training for beginners all the way through the instructor levels. We participate in Project Aware clean-ups, Dive Into Earth Day events, and the Maui Reef Fund. Everyone on our staff is committed to ongoing development and continues their underwater naturalist training, dive education and conservation training throughout the year. There is always more to learn.

Our current staff consists of, Don, Rachel, Teri, Jim, Jay, "The New Guy" Gabe, Charlie, Paul and Rebreather Matt.
