Nearing the end (unfortunately) of our 4th year diving in Maui, all we can ever say is why would anyone use someone other than Maui Dreams???. Everyone at the shop makes us feel like Family - Mahalo. Wish we could take you home to the Northwest to show others how a great company should be run!!

A special note for Katherine:

You totally made Cheryl’s night dive trip – all the way back to the condo last night, for two hours after we got back till we went to bed, and again this morning… all I heard was "I saw this, and that , and this , and that….. and up in the cave was this then we saw that……...." I’m SO jealous. Thanks for making her dive so memorable – you were awesome.

Again - our thanks to all of you, and see you next year - same time!! I'll do the night dive at the beginning of the trip!!

I have to tell you, everything was fantastistic. Again, I have to say that I consider myself blessed to have you as an instructor. You made everything fun and with that, everything is easier to retain.

I have been in the hospitality industry for years and years, and reading the client is key. You are one of the best. Your methods of relating to brandy and myself show the true dedication and personal satisfaction in providing not only an experience, but also a memory to your students (and now friends). You have a gift. Not everyone gets it... you do. I love what I do and it is appearant that you do as well. Although we do it for a living (the money) the true gift is the experience we provide for others. You are one of the best. How's that for sucking up for some pics??

My wife is certified and I am not. In 2009, we went on a two tank intro dive with Paul and this year came back for more on another two-tank intro dive with instructor Keone and Dive Master (Mistress?) Katherine. Could not have had a better time. Everyone from Terri and Rachel in the shop to these two folks were awesome. Welcoming, professional, knowledgeable. I think I'm finally over my fear of diving thanks to the fine folks at Maui Dreams and am ready to get certified and we will see y'all next year for some real diving. Thanks again, Maui Dreams!

My wife and I rented gear off Teri last weekend.....we got super excited about our dive alone and quickly got our gear together. Wouldn't you know it, we discovered a small leak and couldn't fix it. We phoned Teri.....I was expecting something like... Yah, bring it all back and we'll set you up with new stuff.....BUT, instead we got...."what size of bc do you have? Where are you? Okay, I'll be there in 10 minutes with extra gear...and we'll figure it out!!" 20 min later my wife and I are in the water with HUGE smiles on our collective faces. Thank-you Teri....I was not expecting this level of customer care from a $50 rental. We will see you next time and so will all our friends!

We wanted to give a big thank you to Rachel and her apprentice Michael, who took us on a 2 tank discover scuba dive last week! We had the most amazing time and saw & heard the most amazing things! We particularly appreciate the extra time you spent helping us get acclimated to the process. The techniques you taught us worked beautifully and this was a much better experience than we have had with dives in the past! See you for another outing when we're certified!

After diving with many firms at many places I can easily give the Maui Dreams a hearty thumbs up. We travel to Maui annually and I will NOT dive with anyone else. Their equipment is top notch, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have the best Scooters (DPVs) I seen and know the best Dive location for any sea state. Go there first, you won't be dissappointed!

Wanted to do some diving on a family vacation after a 7 year absence from diving and never having had done anything but freshwater diving. After talking to some of the locals about the best dive shop to go to I found my way down to Maui Dreams. I was staying in Lahaina but it was well worth the drive down.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Took a 2 tank shore dive with Katherine and had such a great time I booked a night dive with her 2 days later. Had so much fun that now I'm kicking myself for leaving the sport for so long.
Next time we're in Maui I will definatly be returning.

Just wanted to stop by and give a big ‘THANK-YOU’ for the wonderful underwater adventure! I had a fantastic time diving with Katherine on March 18, 2010. Katherine has a unique ability to spot & identify the multitude of marine life living on the reef. I did a 2-tank dive at Ulua beach and was blown away! I have walked past that reef many many times in the past years and never realized there was that vast of a reef system that existed within 75 yards off shore! I had never seen so many different types of eels in one location before. And Katherine’s ability to spot and point out the many different nudibranches and other marine life was beyond comparison! I had a great time and will definitely be making MDDC my dive shop of choice the next time I’m in Kihei!

I walked into Maui Dreams to buy a weight belt to hold some weights I found on the beach, and 3 weeks later I have passed my Open Water Certification, will be done with my Advanced this weekend and have purchased a BCD, regulator and other gear. Mostly though I want to RAVE about the staff. They are incredible! Jim hooked me and has been one of my repeat instructors, Charlie's zen school of hovering is great and his teaching style is rigorous and thorough, Teri has spent hours with me really discussing and researching my gear needs and questions, Keone did a great job of introducing me deep diving at Molikini, Gabe too has patiently answered my many technical questions on gear and is always layed back, Katherine is just plain nice and was a great dive master on the Maui Diamond boat trip out to Molikini, Don has great jokes and is a super safe skipper, and Zac always makes me feel welcome at the shop. I want to go on to become a Dive Master and instructor with these folks. Thanks!

Wow,What a wonderful experience that my family and I had diving with Katherine and staff at Maui Dreams.I had Never had a fun, dive in the past due to the fact that I get motion sick both on the surface (due to the boat ride as well as the actual dive itself.)We did the shore dive at Ulua.It was the perfect dive to test my theory that the boat ride really sets me up for motion sickness. Katherine was aware of my situation.She was patient and kind to me. I did make some changes with the perfect meds to help me with the nausea and vertigo.The staff at Maui Dreams delivered Service Excellence to us during the boat dive the next day.Capt Don was great,helping us to see the whales,Jenny was great-and Gabe as well.I think so much of this Dive Staff at Maui Dreams that I am planning on going back someday in the near future to finish my Open Water Cert-I can do this on a shore dive-and have a successful fun experience I'm sure of that.Thanks again!!!

Great shop! Everyone was really nice, helpful and of course a lot of fun. They all made each of my dives a fabulous time. Boat, shore, night dive they were all awsome. Can't wait to make my way back to Maui and dive again with Maui Dreams. I was novice too and everyone was very patient.

I LOVED the recent night dive that Katherine took me on. It was my first experience diving @ night. Although, at first I felt a little spooky, she spent alot of time briefing me, telling me what I might expect...in other words, helped me get the most out of my night dive, and lessen my fears. I would definatley recommend Katherine to escort me again. My husband and I have dove with Maui Dreams each time we come to Maui, and I find them to be very personable...thanks!

Maui Dreams is an awesome diving company!!! My husband and I got our open water certifications and loved every minute of our training. Our instructor, Jay, was super patient and really knew how to make us feel comfortable. He even took the time to search the ocean floor when my husband lost his wedding ring! We learned a lot and had a ton of fun at the same time. Thanks Jay for being such an amazing instructor! We can't wait to dive again:)

We were on a family vacation to Maui and we scheduled an intro dive with your company, Wow is all we can say it was one of the highlights of our Hawaiian vacation. We went on an intro dive Dec 22, 2009, Don, Pete, Gabe and Jenny were so patient and helpful we just had a blast. Thanks to Captain Don for the additional whale watching we were also treated to. We can't stop talking about our experience aboard the Maui Diamond 2. If we are every in Hawaii again we will be diving with you again. Thanks the Ritsema Family

Hey sorry this is so late but I just wanted to say that my brother, sister and I all had a blast diving with Paul over the holidays while getting both our Open Water and Advaced Open Water Certs. Thanks for teaching us and always making it fun, including all the South Park and Family Guy quotes which were always being said outside the water!!! Thanks again for an awesome Christmas vacation!!! Aloha Maui Dreams! Once again we had more fun than should be allowed when diving!! And just hanging around the store with everyone talking about diving continued the enjoyment. We dove with both Jim and Charlie this trip and we had a great time on each of our dives. Seeing the 7' manta ray while diving with Jim was incredible - and seeing the sea turtles swim by while diving with Charlie was great too. Both Jim and Charley are professional, knowledgeable and funny! We also want to let you know we were very happy to earn our Master Scuba Diver certification through Maui Dreams. It's nice to be associated with such a great group. Mahalo, we look forward to our next visit and future dives with you!

I did my open water certification with Maui Dreams this week. There are lots of options on the Islands and plenty on Maui, so I did my research. These guys are local, highly professional, fun, fair and desserve your business. The prices are about the same all over for the certification, so service is everything. We had a small group of 3, including myself, as students. Jay was our instructor. He was really patient...not just with our skill development, but also with our joking around and having fun too. Which brings me to the subject of safety. These guys go out of their way to make sure the instruction they give leaves you confident in your abilities and well prepared to be safe divers. They are a 5 star PADI dive instructor center, I believe the only one on the Island. What that means is that they have a person that teaches and certifies other instructors. That's pretty rare and gives you an indication of the quality of instruction coming out of this shop.

We just finished our first night dive with Cathrine. She was the perfect divemaster for a first night dive. Her enthusiasim for night diving was contagious. Jody was initially nervous but Cathrines knowledge and calm attitude put everyone at ease. There were four in our group and all night dive virgins. We saw lots of fantastic invertibrates; crabs, eel, octopus, nudibranchs and the elusive harlequin shrimp.
Thanks to all the MDD crew, we will return to dive with you again.

Bruce Hope here. I was in several times from the end of October through to mid-November & bought a Cobra II computer interface from you. I promised that I would harass you when I set it up since you apparently just like the look of yours in the box, so here’s your harassment as promised. It works really well & sure makes keeping a dive log easy! Maybe you should consider hooking it up?

Thanks to you & all the staff at the shop & on the boat for making my trip a very fond memory. I’ll be sure to use you folks on my next trip down (still discussing that with my bank account!) & I’ve recommended you to several divers up here.
