I can not say enough about Rachel & Don, and Maui Dreams. I came to Maui still needing my open water dives to become certified, I was nervous going into this, Rachel calmed me down right away, and WHAT AN ADVENTURE! The off shore dive we could hear the whales, it was incredible, saw 2 frogfish,and many other little creatures, the next day, 2 boat dives. Well we woke up to wind, and a bit of rain, we had to change our destination, but that was OK.

The boat ride was fun with Captain Don, and we saw a beautiful double rainbow.

Our second dive of the day, we went to a Turtle Cleaning Station, OMG we saw well over 20 of these beautiful creatures!!!

One of the most incredible times I have ever had, this compares to walking on the Great Wall of China.

I was almost a turtle's lunch, I had one sit down right on my fin, and I thought, this is SO cool. I thought I don't want to move, the crew will have to bring more air down to me. WOW he then proceeded to open his mouth, HEY NICE ANKLES LADY!!! without turtle knowledge I knew I had to move, and he was on his way. Rachel caught all this on video, what a treasure, she also sent me the photos she had taken, Now one of my wants is a underwater camera.

I have created a NEW nickname for myself... AQUA-GIRL...

I can not wait to return to Maui, and it is a promise to dive with Rachel and boat with Don again...

WOW!!! My wife and I just wanted to thank you guys for a wonderful experience. We did an intro dive about 10 years ago through another company and we really didn't have a great time. We were a bit hesitant to try again but we couldn't be more pleased with our decision to try it again. Our guide was great, very patient entertaining and knowledgeable. My wife was freaking out in the beginning when we first went under to get used to breathing underwater and she didn't think she would be able to go through with it but he did a great job working through it with us and we had a wonderful 2 tank dive. Saw turtles, eels, octopus, all kinds of cool fish and coral formations. I would definitely choose Maui Dreams again. Thanks for renewing our love with scuba.

Thanks to David for the great open water instruction. He was very helpful in making sure I knew everything to be safe. I had a blast swimming with the huge manta ray, turtles and sharks. You guys should send some warm weather up to WI so I can go diving up here. Keep on keepin on. Thanks lots.

Just wanted to drop a quick note and thank Jay for a great 3 days of Open Water instruction !!!!

My wife had a bad resort dive experience years ago and was reluctant to become certified. With Jay's patience and even tempered approach to teaching, her fears were quickly relieved.

We both appreciate the great experience and couldn't have found a better instructor...

I even got a calf massage during an underwater skill. I didn't really have a cramp, I just wanted to see if I could get Jay to massage my leg. My only complaint... he seemed a little too willing, and I had to ask him twice to stop... lol... Just Kidding!

On behalf of the 24 members of the Maui Canoe Club who took your recent EFR course, I wanted to formally thank you for conducting such an excellent and valuable course.

As a Club engaged in outdoor activities on a daily basis involving several hundred people over the course of a week, our Board of Directors felt that it would be a smart investment to have as many of our members as possible trained in first responder procedures.

I have received very positive feedback from all of the participants in your course. The things that our members seemed to like the most were:

(1) the number of "assistant" instructors who were there to help and give hands on advice during the practice exercises;

(2) the frequent practice exercises that gave the participants the opportunity to actually do the procedures. People felt that this allowed them to better retain the information as opposed to only reading about it or just watching a video;

(3) the opportunity to actually use a defibrillator. Almost everyone had heard about that device, but to actually get a better understanding of what it does and how relatively easy it is to use was very well received.

Teri, thank you again for conducting such a wonderful course for us. All of our members are better off for having had the experience. I would highly recommend it to other groups and individuals.

I hate that we had to cancel the night dive with Rachel because we know from past experience that it would have been a great dive for sure and were really looking forward to it. Dang that wind!!!!

Rachel, you made my birthday week the best ever and love you guys for that.

Just wanted to let you know how much fun I had on my two dive trips with you last week. It was a blast. It is evident all of you take enjoyment in diving and helping your customers. This was the complete opposite of what I experienced with the other dive shop that I used earlier in the week. Too bad the weather fouled up my night dive. I guess I will have to head back to Maui next year to get that in. Tell Charlie that Bethany stopped by the shop after our snorkel trip but missed him. She wanted to tell him all the fish she was on the snorkel trip. She said she will be ready next year to do some diving. Once again thanks for a great time,

P.S. Jim, I think I brought back the wind to Louisiana.

Had 6 really good shore dives with Charlie. He did an excellent job of helping me with my dives and video. Frogfish, Lionfish and Scorpionfish came out good plus many other fish and eel shots.

I would like to say the latest class I and Miss Happy Ending took with you was all fun but I would be a little over spoken. I did have some fun between leg cramps and the filling up on sea water while you planned the next attack. I left Maui this last time feeling like I could someday help someone save their day or their life and for that I don't think I could have had a better instructor and I am confident my dive buddy feels the same way. Thank You!

Thank you for the great training and dive experience. Ann and I had a great time and will definitely come dive with you guys again next time we are back on the Island.

In addition, Rachel, I am glad you took pictures, because our film in that camera got all screwed up and none of the pictures turned out. =( Ann and I are excited to see the pictures you took!! We especially can't wait to see the pictures with the turtles!

Eva and I wanted to once again thank you for all of your time and support during our trip to Maui last week. We had an amazing time and have already booked our next scuba trip to Cozumel in late summer. The complete Maui Dreams experience was beyond my expectations and we have discovered a new world beneath the water.

Again, thank you and we will be in touch on our next trip to Maui (the gang is already discussing another visit next year).

My son, Christian, has been certified since 11, however being from Canada, the dives are far and few between. It was perfect when his friend, Tyric, joined us in Maui and wanted to try diving for the first time. Jay from Maui Dreams took them through a refresher for my son, and for Tyric a first time lesson. They enjoyed the two dives so very much and even got to see a shark!! Jay actually accommodated us by taking the kids diving a second time on his day off... can't say enough about how great Jay is. My son wants to move to Maui now... talk about Dreams!! Big thanks for a wonderful life memory Jay!!

Due to unfortunate circumstances (my uncle not liking scuba diving and bailing), it has taken me close to four months to complete course that was meant to take me three days.

I started diving at Ulua Beach with Paul on day one. Day two I was lucky enough to have Jay. He was extremely encouraging and I had great one on one lessons. Unfortunately I had to fly the next day so I only completed two of my four dives.

When I returned to Adelaide it took three to four months to arrange to finish my course (it was the middle of the school year). Over my course I have had the privilege of working with three different instructors. I want to let everybody know that I wish I lived in Maui so I would be able to go diving with MDDC. It has been the best dive shop and has had the most encouraging instructors. The gear has been new and well looked after (unlike the outdated and hard to use BCD I used in Adelaide). I loved MDDC.

Jay you were a great instructor and I hope to come back and take other dives with the company. I've told my friends so often how much I enjoyed the course on Maui that they have taken to mocking me and mouthing along.

P.S. that turtle that was in front of you in the second dive... well you so didn't see it and almost swam into it even if you won't admit it! Just wanted to let you know, and it doesn’t hurt that everyone else knows too!

I had Jay on my first dive, a shore dive off Ulua beach, then Cheryl for the Molokini Crater and Turtle Canyon dives. Both were professional, safe, and knowledgeable. On the boat dives, Cheryl was great with my wife, who had a bit of trouble with buoyancy control as it was only her first dive after certification. Also, the entire boat crew was great. We were treated like kings with good, plentiful food and drinks and lots of assistance with the dawning and shedding of our scuba gear. My wife is now hooked on scuba diving so what can I say except thank you!!
