I just finished getting some photos of our trip up on my web site and thought I would share them with you. Jessica and I had such a wonderful time diving with you guys. Jessica is still talking about diving with you when we saw the shark, and Don letting her drive the boat. Also, she has not forgotten that Don offered her a job when she is older. Everyone there was so nice, we can't thank you guys enough.

Just want to thank Jim and Teri and the staff at Maui Dreams for such a great experience in South Maui. The Makena sites delivered all the fun turtles, huge fish and interesting topography that we'd heard about (with three eagle rays and 4 white tips thrown in as huge bonuses!) and Jim was terrific getting us set up for our dives - the scooters were awesome! Thanks for everything, and we'll see you again when we're in the area. Mahalo to all!

I just completed the 3 day PADI certification with Paul. He is a great instructor!

Terri, Rachel and Jay: thanks for making this past week of diving so memorable. This is my third year of diving with MDDC. I have gone diving with others on Maui, but they just don't have the warmth and care you do. See ya again.

We just returned home from Maui where we had the opportunity to dive and train with Maui Dreams Dive Co. We completed our PADI Rescue Diver course and our Night Diver and Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver specialties.

When we arrived in Maui we’d only planned on completing our Rescue Diver course but once we got to meet all the knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors at Maui Dreams who are not only committed to making you a better diver, but to making dive training a fun and exciting experience, we signed up for more.

While we got a chance to meet many of the great folks at Maui Dreams we have to offer special praise to our Rescue Diver instructor Michelle, who was also up to the task of training us on DPV’s. Michelle was extremely helpful working us through all the rescue exercises and scenarios. Her knowledge, patience and encouragement were a big part of making some very challenging training fun and fulfilling. Thank you Michelle! You are a great instructor.

We also need to send a special thanks to Jay who took us on our first night dives. While we were a little anxious about our first dive at night, Jay’s calm and confident demeanour and patient instruction coaxed us back in the water 2 more times and opened up a new diving experience for us that was relaxing, exciting and memorable. We were truly amazed at the night life you see on the reef after dark. And did I say relaxing? Our final dive lasted 69 minutes and we had 1000 psi. left when we got back to shore. Now that’s a great dive!

Finally, if we needed another reason to feel great about MDDC, Rachel invited us to their Friday night Pau Hana party at Keawakapu Beach for some snacks and laughs.

Altogether, lots of fun, great diving and great people; Maui Dreams gets our absolute highest recommendation. It doesn’t get any better.

To Don, Rachel, Jay, and the gang:

It was our good fortune to encounter Jay and Charlie on one of our morning beach walks. Despite not really planning to dive on this vacation, their stories and enthusiasm won us over -- especially the prospect of seeing a Manta Ray. Whether it was diving with the Mantas, scootering around the St. Anthony, or watching the sunset while sipping a beer at the Friday Pau Hana, you guys really made the vacation for us. Thanks!

Thanks again for all the help, and the dive trips this year. Jana is still bragging up the service she received both at the store from Rachel and on the boat from Don. She is telling everyone how much fun she had on the boat, and how much better it was than the “other boat” she had been on.

We had the most wonderful experience diving in Maui. Thank you Jay for being the most patient and professional instructor. You were very friendly and definitely the best!

This was both of our first dives - we loved it and really really miss it!

We did our advanced open water with Paul. Paul, you were so great to work with!!! We were very pleased with our experience.

To anyone considering diving with MDDC, Paul is very patient and fun. There was one girl with us that was having a hard time and Paul went above and beyond to make sure that she had a positive experience.

Maui Dreams is a great dive center! Jay was so patient with our 10, 14, and 17 year olds, when he did their open water certifications.

Maui Diamond II took us to Molokini and Turtle Canyon. The crew was awesome!

Rachel helped me order an Ikelite housing for my camera & it arrived early.

Most importantly, our kids needed rental gear. Maui Dreams equipment is first rate.

I'm an assistant instructor with over 1000 dives and have helped teach several hundred students. I have worked a liveaboard boat in California and know how hard it is to take care of divers and help them enjoy their short time on the boat.

My wife, best friend and I went out on the Maui Diamond this Oct and had the best time of our lives. The crew was awesome, Don the boat captain is an awesome human being. We also rented equipment from Maui Dreams for some shore diving and their suggestions for shore spots were right on. We can't wait to head back to Maui for some more great diving.

I just completed the 3 day PADI certification with Michelle. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had!

Michelle was patient, experienced, and a great teacher! Our first day we saw two eagle rays. Our third day we went out to Molokini and spotted a shark and numerous other amazing creatures.

We will be back to do more diving with Michelle as soon as we can! I highly recommend this shop, and especially Michelle!

We are back from our Hawaii vacation and resumed our 'ordinary' lives. A quick note to thank one and all for your friendliness and professionalism.

We dove with you Sat. 8/23 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! From Pete-the-Captain to Kat, Jenny and Gabe we were very pleased.

Kat was our guide and she showed us many interesting things and spotted a white-tip shark for us to see. At Turtle Valley we saw the Harlequin Shrimp and several beautiful turtles.

The entire MDDC crew was very helpful. From Teri and Jim in the shop, to all the crew on our dive, you were the best!

We have contacted our local dive shop and given them all our information about our dives and the excellent service at MDDC. We told them that we would be happy to recommend you to any Cleveland area diver who will be traveling to Maui.

Our pictures came back today and we have many great photos to remind us of our fun time with MDDC.

We had a great dive with Michelle. It was like diving with an old friend - she made my teenage son (who was newly certified) feel very comfortable and ensured that he had a good time.

Everyone at the shop was nice, low-key, and I would definitely book a dive with them again (and especially with Michelle!)

Jay, Thank you so much for such a great introductory dive in Wailea. When we got back home we finished our PADI dive class and became certified divers. We are going to Kona in January on a liveaboard to swim with the mantas at night.

Thank you for such an amazing experience in the underwater world. We are hooked!

Dear Folks at Maui Dreams,

We couldn't conclude our first trip to Maui without extending our thanks to everyone at Maui Dreams, and especially Rachel, our scuba coach and guide. She is amazing!

My daughters, Jennie and Caitlin, were new to scuba and pretty nervous. As we drove to the shop, I worried that your personnel would be very young, unduly arrogant, and visibly bored, a combination we'd experienced all to often on other islands. When we got there, however, my worries flew away. The gentleman behind the counter (sorry, I don't remember his name!) and Rachel were happy to see us, and her sunny personality was infectious. My daughters' nerves disappeared.

After the dive, my family constantly talked over one another about what they'd seen and how much fun it was. It was "Rachel said this..." and "Rachel showed us that..." all the way back to Napili.

Maui Dreams was a great highlight of our trip. We will always recommend Maui Dreams to all our friends and family, and we will be back!

Dear Michelle,

What you did for my dad and me was truly a life changing experience. I will always, for the rest of my life, be able to say that I am a certified scuba diver. I first got hooked on the ocean and marine life when I was six years old. I went snorkeling with my dad around Black Rock. I saw my first green sea turtle and from then on, I have loved observing the aquatic animals and topography of the underwater world...

Your style of teaching was truly remarkable. Everything you said and did from day one was exceptional and I felt comfortable asking questions. Being able to learn from such a marvelous teacher was a blessing. The way that your shop functions and teaches is head and shoulders above what I have ever heard or seen at any other dive shop.

I thank you more than any words can ever describe. When I think of Maui Dreams Dive Co., I will remember that you gave me the opportunity to be on the same planet, but in a different world. Thank you for giving me a new world!
