- Day 2: 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. session
- Day 3: 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Note: These courses typically run three days in a row, but not always. If you need special dates (for example, weekends only), please contact us and we’ll make it happen for you.
What to Expect
Prior to showing up for the first day of dive training, divers must complete the digital course materials, which is purchased separately through the training agency (PADI).
On your first day of training, we’ll meet at the shop, get you fitted for the equipment you’ll be using in class, and we’ll administer a quick quiz to make sure you’ve absorbed all that eLearning! After that, we’ll head down to the dive site where the real fun begins. We’ll learn to set up equipment, complete a 200 yard swim and 10 minute float/tread and yes, we’ll also go diving.
On the second and third days, students will typically meet their instructors at the dive site and after a lunch break on the second day, we’ll reconvene at the shop for a classroom session to review what we’ve done so far, fill in any knowledge gaps, and get you ready for your last day of class. After our dives on the final day, we’ll return to the shop to complete logbooks and certifications.
Students ARE required to provide all of their own transportation to and from the dive sites, so please plan accordingly.
