Certified divers are invited to earn their Diver Propulsion Vehicle specialty certification!

Underwater, we'll cruise along coral reefs, maxing out at a depth of about 70 feet deep, making for great adventure dives! Glide effortlessly through the water, and cover significantly more distance, with very little effort while using a scooter.

Scooter diving enables us to visit sites farther from shore and to explore areas we would usually need a boat to dive. We get to fly through the water! And, to state the obvious, it's just plain fun!

During the specialty course, divers will learn to set up and prep their scooters for the dives, to ride the scooters while staying level and maintaining good buddy practices, to service the scooters afterwards, and more.

All equipment is included.

What to Expect

For divers just joining us for a guided scooter tour, show up ready to dive!

For those earning the specialty certification, divers must first purchase and complete the digital course materials prior to the start of your course. On the morning of your dives, we'll meet at the shop, prep our scooters, and head out to the dive site to complete two great scooter dives. After that, we'll meet back at the shop to service the scooters, debrief, and wrap things up for the day. This course does count towards the Master Scuba Diver rating.

Prerequisites

• Certified Diver
• Dived within 2 years

If due to weather conditions or a mechanical failure we can only accomplish 1 dive, we will issue you a $40 refund.
