Underwater Easter Egg Hunt
This event is a total riot and one no self-respecting diver should ever miss! To sign up, you can print and bring this form.
When: April 23, 2011, briefing is at 8:AM
Where: Keawakapu Beach, where South Kihei Road Ends
What Else: The briefing is at 8:AM, so make sure you get your gear early (or the afternoon before) and get there to get a parking space and set up your gear prior to that.
Once we let divers in the water, they will have ONE HOUR to hunt for eggs! All participants must be out of the water by 9:AM. And this year, divers exiting the water without the same buddy they entered with will be DQ'd!
Hot Tip: Plan on renting your gear and picking up tanks Friday afternoon. The shop will only be open for about 45 minutes before the event on Saturday, and you'll want to be at the site gearing up by then anyway. We will resume normal business hours at 10:AM.
Prizes: Yep, there will be prizes. This year's prizes have been generously donated by Hawaiian Hairitage, Kihei Sporting Goods, Valley Isle Lock, Aloha Tanning Salon, Joy's Place, Surf Shack, AquaLung Pacific, Oceanic, Sherwood, Sea Sports, PADI, and the list continues to grow!
Misc: If you've won the GRAND PRIZE at any of our previous egg hunts, congratulations! Though you are not elidgible to win the "big one" ever again, you can still go for one of the other prize eggs. Also, we often get asked if snorkelers can participate in any way and though we hate to say it, the answer is no. This is a diver only event, folks!
