Dave Goodyear
IDC Staff Instructor and Technician

Dave Goodyear is one of Maui Dreams' IDC Staff  Instructor, Service Technician, and general shop IT guru. We couldn't be happier to have him. Not only does he bring his vast knowledge of the Scuba world to us, he also comes a with a lot of experience in IT, Computers, and Repair. His background is Information Technology, Computer, and Network Engineer. He ran his own business in El Segundo/LA for 10 years.  Previous to that he was the IT Manager for Clear Channel Communications in Las Vegas. He has been a PADI professional since June 2011 where he became a divemaster with Dive N’ Surf in Redondo Beach California. He came to Maui Feb 2021.  He first came into the shop that April to get his gear serviced ,and next thing you know, he was hired by Rachel, and began working in the shop and guiding dives. Just a few months later he became an OW Instructor and then a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and now an IDC Staff Instructor!  So come on into the shop and say Aloha to Dave, he may teach your class or even service your gear!
